How Flatten PDF works

A filled-out form is still editable until it's flattened — the field values become permanent, static page content that can't be accidentally changed. Gojli's Flatten tool does this in one click.

  2. Flatten the form — Gojli merges every field's current value into the page content and removes the interactive form.

Frequently asked questions

Can I undo a flatten?

Not on the same file — keep a copy of the original if you might need to edit the form again.

Does this work on PDFs without forms?

It's safe to run, but there's nothing to flatten if the PDF has no form fields.
